Joke Witteveen is founder of xmediaworks. After ten years working as a consultant and manager in the interactive media industry she started xmediaworks in 2003.

With a background in ICT, media and creative processes she advices how to use concepts and technology from the gaming and entertainment industry in non-entertainment environments such as corparate organisations, education, healthcare and non-profit.
Recent projects she has been involved in are games for professional career orientation in secondary vocational education, a game for language training, an awareness game for children about climatechange and a project management game.

Next to that she develops masterclasses and workshops about serious games and interactive media.
