xmediaworks strongly believes that expertise from different kind of disciplines should be involved in the development of serious games. From initiation till launch of the game it is vital that all stakeholders are involved in all the stages of the proces. xmediaworks has a broad network of game and media specialist to work with. RANJ
RANJ is a creative studio specialised in the design and development of serious games. xmediaworks and RANJ work together in several projects. xmediaworks is distributor of Sharkworld – a project management game.

Carla Hoekendijk
Carla has a background in both fine arts and philosophy. She has worked as an independent concept and content developer, as well as producer and advisor. The various projects she has been working on often combine images, technology, philosophy and interaction, and were made for both profit and non-profit organisations.

For years she has been teaching a.o. interactive narratives at the Utrecht School of the Arts (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht). In recent years she has been working for the Amsterdam School of ICT, a collaboration of the University of Amsterdam and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, on the development of gamedesign and gameplay and their implications for education.
